EYFS Teacher (Nursery & Reception)

Location: South Birmingham
Salary: 135+ per day (dependent on experience and scale)
Contract: Full-time, Part-time, and Supply opportunities for 2025

We are looking for passionate EYFS Teachers to join our agency and support Birmingham primary schools in creating joyful, effective learning environments for their youngest pupils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver creative, play-based lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Conduct regular observations and track student progress toward Early Learning Goals (ELGs).
  • Maintain a secure, nurturing environment, ensuring high standards of safeguarding and pupil well-being.
  • Collaborate with TAs and other staff members to ensure a consistent, inclusive approach to learning.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for most primary school roles; Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) is accepted for nursery settings.
  • Proven experience teaching Nursery or Reception classes within the British curriculum.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to process a new one) and two professional references.
  • Strong communication, patience, and a deep understanding of early childhood development.
