Job Description

As an EYFS Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to explore and learn
  • Implementing a variety of teaching strategies and activities to meet the diverse needs and abilities of young learners
  • Observing and assessing children's progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers, and maintaining accurate records
  • Building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support children's well‑being and development
  • Participating in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and contribute to the school community
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a relevant field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  • Experience teaching in an Early Years setting preferred, but newly qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply
