EYFS Graduate Teaching Assistant – Reception Support – Yardley

The Role
You’ll join a Reception class as a key member of the support team, helping children settle into routines, build early learning skills, and thrive socially. You’ll assist with phonics, number work, group play, and practical activities – from story time to messy play.

This role is ideal for a graduate looking to train in Early Years teaching or child psychology. You’ll be involved in observations, planning simple activities, and working closely with the class teacher and EYFS Lead.

The Candidate
You’re calm, patient and full of positive energy. You understand the importance of play-based learning and you enjoy working with young children. Previous experience in nurseries, holiday camps or schools will help, but attitude is everything.

You’ll need confidence, flexibility and a nurturing approach to meet the needs of 4–5-year-olds starting their education journey.
