Senior Social Worker - Children with Disabilities

Barnstaple / North Devon
Mon-Fri | 09:00-17:00
37 hours/week
Up to £38/hr (Umbrella)
£150/week travel/accommodation allowance (if 50+ miles from base)

About the Role

We're looking for a dedicated, experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities team in North Devon. You'll be working to support disabled children and their families to live safe, fulfilled, and supported lives.

What You'll Do

• Work with disabled children & their families
• Support in areas of child protection & children in care
• Handle duty days (1-2x per week - flexible)
• Mix of remote & in-office work
• Travel across North Devon for visits

What You Bring

• Qualified & SWE-registered Social Worker
• Strong experience in Children\'s Services (Disabilities, CiC, CP)
• Knowledge of rural social work practice
• Access to a vehicle essential (rural travel required)
• A commitment to strengths-based, person-centred approaches
