Job summary

A telecommunications services provider is expanding its team and seeking skilled Telecoms Engineers with experience in Copper or FTTP. The position offers a competitive earning structure of £50k-£60k+ per year, a fully kitted van, and ongoing training opportunities. Ideal candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and have a full UK manual licence. This role includes long-term work and support from a dedicated contract management team.

Qualifications

About the Opportunity

Capital Outsourcing Group is expanding our team of skilled Telecoms Engineers to support major national projects on the Openreach network. If you have hands-on Copper or FTTP experience, we can offer immediate starts, long-term work, and strong earning potential.

What You'll Be Doing

• Completing copper and fibre fault diagnostics and repairs at customer premises
• Working both overhead (poles) and underground (ducts)
• Installing, testing, and signing off fibre installations
• Using smart tech to follow work packs and complete job documentation
• Delivering high-quality work to safety and compliance standards
• Working independently and as part of a wider field team

What We're Looking For

• Experience working on the Openreach Network (copper or fibre)
• Comfortable working outdoors and at height (up to approx. 15m)
• Strong problem-solver with good attention to detail
• Full UK manual licence (held 12+ months, max 6 points)
• Ideally held: SA001, SA002, SA020, SA029, Streetworks 01, E1, F5, F17, C4 (Expired? We'll retrain you free)
• Experience with CityFibre is also welcomed
