Job summary

A precision engineering company in Hinckley is seeking an experienced CNC Miller Setter Operator to work with advanced 5-axis CNC Milling machines. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ CNC Milling experience, be self-motivated, and have strong technical literacy. Responsibilities include setting and operating machines, interpreting engineering drawings, and ensuring quality assurance. This role offers competitive pay and a rotating 4-day working week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ CNC Milling experience required.
• Strong technical literacy and ability to work to customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set 5-axis CNC Milling machines.
• Inspect own work using precision measurement equipment.
• Perform basic machine maintenance (TPM).

Skills

Operating and setting 5-axis CNC Milling machines

Working with Fanuc and Mazatrol controls

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

Confident in inspection and quality assurance processes

Self‑motivated and detail‑oriented

Education

Apprentice trained (preferred)
