Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and responsive Expedite Customer Service Representative to support our logistics operations.
In this role, you will serve as the key point of contact for urgent and time-sensitive shipments, ensuring that customer needs are met with speed and accuracy. You will coordinate closely with transportation providers, warehouses, and internal teams to expedite freight movement and resolve delivery challenges efficiently.
Specific Responsibilities
Manage and prioritize expedited shipment requests from customers.
Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and warehouse personnel to ensure timely pickup and delivery.
Monitor shipment progress and proactively communicate updates or delays to customers.
Investigate and resolve transportation or delivery issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of expedited orders, shipping documents, and communications.
Assist in optimizing logistics workflows for improved response time and service quality.
Collaborate with the operations and customer service teams to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
