A local art organization in Cromer is seeking volunteers to welcome visitors to art exhibitions. The role involves ensuring a positive experience and helping with the safety of artworks. Volunteers can choose shifts that work for them and will have the chance to meet new people and learn more about art. This is a great opportunity for art enthusiasts looking to make a positive impact in the community.
Role: Would you like to join our team of volunteers who welcome visitors to exhibitions in our art deco Artspace on the Prom in Cromer? We are looking for people to join our team of volunteers who support the smooth running of Cromer Artspace exhibitions, offering a warm welcome, a positive experience and safe environment for visitors, and ensuring the safety and security of the artwork. Exhibitions run at our lovely art deco building on the West Prom in Cromer, with morning or afternoon shifts available Monday to Sunday. You sign up for the shifts that suit you. If you are comfortable talking to members of the public and are interested in art and artists, this may be the role for you. You will have the chance to meet new people, learn more about art and support the smooth running of this lovely old building.
About the organisation: Cromer Artspace aims to engage and inspire the local community with art in public places, encouraging audience engagement and participation by increasing the understanding of the arts. We aim to be fresh and outward looking, supporting artists and bringing works and events of quality and imagination to Cromer.
