Job description

I am delighted to present an exciting opportunity arising within the Executive Support Team. The role will be providing Senior EA support to our Chief People Officer within the People Matters Directorate.

The key purpose of this job is to provide a comprehensive and confidential executive support function for the Chief People Officer, to ensure the smooth, efficient and effective running of their office. The post holder is expected to work flexibly to ensure the highest quality of support and administrative functions and to do so in a positive and professional image befitting the organisation and in accordance with the Trust values.

Main Duties
  • Be a self‑starting, proactive individual with a positive and motivated attitude, working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders in a highly complex and fast‑paced environment.
  • Serve as a positive role model for executive support services within the Executive Support Team.
  • Champion the Trust values and behaviours and be adaptable in support of colleagues and their Executive Directors as necessary for resilience and business continuity.
  • Successfully support the Executive Management Team in managing the organisation and delivering the Trust's strategic vision and objectives.
  • Apply initiative, creativity and the ability to work autonomously, prioritising tasks according to the needs of the Executive Director.
  • Demonstrate an in‑depth understanding and knowledge of the Executive Director’s role and duties, and effectively support all areas of their responsibilities.
