Location: St James’s, London
Salary: £65,000–£70,000
Hours: 9:00am–6:00pm
Office-based: Typically, 4 days per week, with flexibility to attend 5 days when required

The Role

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a highly capable Executive Assistant to provide both business and private support to a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of a leading private equity firm. You must have a private equity background.

This is a combined Business and Private EA role, supporting a very busy principal with extensive international travel, board responsibilities, and personal commitments. The successful candidate will be trusted to manage complex diaries, handle sensitive matters with discretion, and act as a proactive right hand.

You will work closely with a coLlaborative and experienced EA team, including another senior EA supporting a fellow Co-Founder. The culture is professional, supportive, and non-hierarchical, with long-standing team members and excellent retention.

Business Support
  • Complex diary and travel management across multiple time zones
  • Managing expenses and processing invoices
  • Coordinating extensive international travel, often at short notice
  • Supporting board and trustee commitments, including document preparation and review
  • Acting as a gatekeeper, confidently pushing back when appropriate
  • Anticipating needs and ensuring the principal is fully prepared
Private Support
  • Overseeing multiple private residences, including household management and maintenance
  • Managing personal bills, invoices, and liaising with household staff
  • Arranging personal and family travel
  • Coordinating private events and entertaining at the family home
  • Handling medical appointments and other sensitive personal matters
  • Managing ad hoc requests and errands with efficiency and discretion
Candidate Profile
