Job summary

A leading provider of Learning & Development solutions is seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to the Board to support the CEO, CFO, COO, and other executives. You will manage the CEO's diary, coordinate meetings, and track strategic initiatives. The role requires exceptional organisational and communication skills, with a minimum of 3 years' experience supporting C-suite executives. This is a hybrid role, needing in-person attendance in Manchester once a week.

Job description

As Executive Assistant to the Board, you'll be the strategic right hand to our CEO, CFO, COO, CMO and Sales Director. You'll take full ownership of the CEO's diary, ensuring their time is optimised and aligned with business priorities. Your proactive approach will keep our executive team focused, prepared, and ahead of the curve. You'll coordinate Board and strategic meetings, track actions, and hold stakeholders accountable for delivery – ensuring visibility of progress and enabling the business to achieve its ambitious growth strategy. This is a high‑impact role for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and is passionate about making a difference at the highest level.

What You’ll Do:
  • Own and manage the CEO's diary, correspondence, and meeting preparation
  • Provide high‑level support to the CEO, CFO, COO, and Sales Director
  • Coordinate Board and strategic meetings across all business areas
  • Track actions, monitor progress, and report on risks and bottlenecks
  • Act as the central point of contact for the Board, internal teams, and external stakeholders
  • Draft, edit, and proofread executive communications and reports
  • Support strategic projects using tools like Asana
  • Organise travel, events, and offsite meetings for the executive team
  • Provide administrative overflow support for our customer service team in busy periods
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a senior administrative role supporting C‑suite executives
  • Exceptional organisational, project management, and communication skills
  • Ability to take full ownership of complex diaries and correspondence
  • High level of discretion and professionalism
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint)
  • Experience with project management platforms (ideally Asana) is a plus
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
