Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in the UK is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant / Personal Assistant to support the Director in a busy firm. This role involves managing the Director's inbox and diary, drafting documents, handling contracts, bookkeeping, and more. The Job

On behalf of our client we are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant / Personal Assistant to work closely with the Director of a busy firm in Bristol. As well as EA / PA responsibilities you’ll also support with bookkeeping, so it’s perfect for someone who enjoys variety and likes to be hands-on.

Responsibilities
  • Keeping email inbox and diary under control, chasing actions and making sure priorities are met.
  • Drafting emails, pulling together documents and keeping things organised.
  • Helping with contracts, project paperwork and compliance tasks.
  • Processing supplier invoices, raising purchase orders and maintaining ledgers.
  • Bank reconciliations, preparing payment runs and chasing any overdue payments.
  • Pulling together information for the accountant for VAT, payroll and management accounts.
  • Looking after CIS submissions and dealing with supplier queries (training can be given if needed).
The Person

On behalf of our client we are looking for an experienced PA or EA where you have supported at senior management level. They are looking for someone who is super organised to allow them to focus on growing the business. It’s also essential that you have gained bookkeeping experience and ideally have used Xero previously. It’s also key you are practical, proactive and like taking ownership of tasks. If you have experience in property or construction that would be a real bonus (however not essential).

The Salary

£35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.
