Job summary

A UK educational institution is seeking an enthusiastic Exams Officer to support the management of exams and cover processes. The role demands strong organizational skills, excellent ICT proficiency, and the ability to efficiently communicate with staff, students, and parents. Starting salary ranges from £15.31 to £16.62 per hour for 37 hours per week over 40 weeks. The position includes working during key exam periods and 5 INSET days throughout the year.

About this job

The Exams Officer will be an enthusiastic and motivated staff member, to work under the direct line management of the Data & Exams Manager, supporting the Assistant Headteacher in managing the exams and cover management process of the school.

This is a varied role and requires high levels of organisation and to be able to demonstrate the ability to work to demands and deadlines.

Excellent ICT skills and knowledge of a range of packages including Microsoft are essential along with good interpersonal and communication skills to help support and advise staff, pupils, and parents/carers. Grade 6 (Point 14-19 - £15.31-£16.62 per hour) 37 hours per week - 7.30am starts. 40 weeks per year to include: Exam results days during August (
