Job description

The College is seeking applications for Examination Invigilators for an As and When Required work.The overall purpose of the post will be to invigilate examinations offered by the North West Regional College.

Responsibilities
  • Be familiar with examination regulations and ensure that awarding bodies’ regulations are adhered to during examinations
  • Check the identity of candidates entered for examinations
  • Inform students of relevant instructions, notices and procedures and ensure that candidates adhere to the regulations
  • Distribute examination papers and stationery
  • Mark examination attendance registers and note seating arrangements
Skills and Qualifications
  • Have at least a Level 3 qualification in any discipline
  • Have GCSE English (Grades C or higher) or Essential Skills Level 2 (or higher) in Communication, or any qualifications which are deemed to be equivalent
  • Have GCSE Maths (Grades C or higher) or Essential Skills Level 2 (or higher) in Numeracy, or NICATS Access Maths Modules, or any qualifications which are deemed to be equivalent
  • Have experience of teaching, delivering training or administering tests
