Our client has a mission to empower entrepreneurs and business owners through dynamic, high-impact live events that create real momentum. From preview sessions to flagship training programs, they help their clients unlock rapid results and long-term growth. With over 130 events a year, they''re expanding and looking for an Event Sales Manager to take ownership of the delivery, logistics, and sales performance of their nationwide Preview Events — and help drive revenue and operational excellence.
About the Role
As Event Sales Manager, you''ll lead the delivery of Preview Events across the UK — overseeing the full production and ensuring each event runs to a high standard and hits its commercial goals. You''ll spend approximately 50% of your time on the road, running events and leading the team. The remaining 50% will be based at our HQ, where you''ll manage post-event follow-ups and support the team in converting leads into additional sales. This is a dynamic, people-focused role where you''ll wear many hats: operator, leader, driver, organiser, and closer.
Responsibilities
- Pre-Event Planning
- Coordinate staffing with Sales, AV, and Speaker teams
- Liaise with HQ to sign off venues
- Ensure all stock, supplies, and travel logistics are in place
- Make contact with venues in advance to ensure smooth handover
- Handle any final negotiations (e.g. catering, access times) if required
- Contribute to location selection in collaboration with the Marketing team
- Event Delivery
- Lead the delivery of Preview Events across the UK
- Brief, coordinate, and manage the on-site event team
- Monitor sales activity and energy in the room
- Troubleshoot issues and ensure every event delivers a high standard of client experience
- Manage logistics of travel to and from venues, including accommodation planning and driving the van where required
- Keep track of costs and on-the-road spend
- General Management & Leadership
- Set the tone through leadership, communication, and professionalism
- Lead and manage the event team to uphold standards and performance
- Foster a high-performance, values-driven team culture
- Represent the Preview team in company meetings and planning sessions
- Deliver weekly reports on events, sales performance, and team activity
- HQ-Based Sales & Follow-Up (50%)
- Spend 50% of your time based at HQ
- Manage and support the Preview team between events
- Follow up with clients you met on the road to drive additional sales
- Track and improve follow-up activity, ensuring timely and effective outreach
- Work closely with the Sales Director to align follow-up efforts and maximise conversions

- A consistent calendar of well-executed Preview Events delivered each month
- Strong overall sales performance generated by the event team
- Effective post-event follow-up resulting in additional conversions
- High levels of client satisfaction, feedback, and experience at events
- Operational excellence across planning, logistics, reporting, and team leadership
- Strong leadership presence, positive team culture, and clear performance standards upheld throughout every stage of delivery
Compensation & Benefits
- OTE: £45,000 (subject to experience)

Who You Are
- Energetic, confident, and calm under pressure
- Experienced in managing events, logistics, or a sales-focused team
- Excellent at leading people and setting standards on the ground
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and commercially sharp
- Willing and able to travel extensively across the UK (evenings/weekends as required)
- Comfortable driving long distances and handling van logistics when needed
