Are you an experienced hospitality leader with a passion for creating seamless and memorable events? The Glasgow Marriott Hotel is looking for an Events & Banqueting Supervisor to take charge of delivering high-quality meetings, conferences, and banqueting services in our newly refurbished, city-centre venue.

What You’ll Do

As Events & Banqueting Supervisor, you\'ll ensure the successful delivery of events—from setup to service and post-event handover—while leading a team that creates exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of meetings, events, and banqueting functions
  • Lead, train, and support the Events & Banqueting team to deliver excellent service
  • Work closely with event planners and other departments to ensure smooth delivery
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with all regulations
  • Monitor departmental costs, staffing, and stock control
  • Contribute to financial and operational reporting
  • Maintain and update SOPs to ensure service consistency
  • Champion Marriott brand standards in every guest interaction

Experience
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within events, conferences, or banqueting (preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel environment)
