A global leader in energy solutions is seeking an Event Technician to support electrical distribution and cabling equipment for international events. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in electrical systems and strong communication skills. This role involves working with a collaborative team, ensuring optimal performance of electrical systems, and compliance with QHSE standards. Contract length typically varies between 8–24 weeks with international travel required.

Overview

Role: Event Technician - Electrical

Role Type: Contract/Freelance

Location: International (event-based)

Assignment Length: Typically, 8–24 weeks. Start dates will vary depending on event and venue

Travel: International travel required

Passport: Must be valid with at least 6 months remaining

What you will do

As part of the venue delivery team, you’ll help deploy and maintain our electrical distribution and cabling equipment on-site. You’ll:

  • Conduct installation, commissioning, and decommissioning of electrical distribution equipment, including cable terminations and distribution panel breaker settings
  • Interpret venue-specific electrical schematics to guide accurate equipment installation
  • Coordinate with site logistics teams to manage timely and efficient equipment mobilisation
  • Collaborate closely with Aggreko’s mechanical and UPS teams to ensure efficient and coordinated connection of all equipment
  • Proactively monitor and maintain electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
  • Support other team members with the installation and monitoring of generator and UPS assets as part of a collaborative venue team
