Overview

An established, high-end events business in Bath is looking to recruit an experienced Event Sous Chef to support the delivery of premium events, including celebrity weddings, high-profile private functions and large-scale conferences.

This is a hands-on role within a well-structured operation, producing fresh, high-quality food at volume, with strong attention to detail and presentation throughout.

Role and responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on culinary leadership as Event Sous Chef in a fast-paced, high-volume events environment
  • Support the delivery of premium events, including celebrity weddings, high-profile private functions and large-scale conferences
  • Ensure consistent quality, portion control, and presentation across all dishes
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and wider events team to plan menus and staffing for each event
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety in line with company policies
  • Mentor and develop junior kitchen staff where applicable
