Job description

We require Hygiene Operatives to work in our Newry site. Working within the Hygiene team to complete the daily hygiene to a high standard. Ensuring all the equipment in the factory, machinery, belts, etc. are cleaned to the high standard. Full training and PPE will be provided.

Responsibilities

• To adhere to a safe standard in accordance with legislation and company rules and regulations.Promptly report any accidents, incidents or near misses to your manager or supervisor.
• Report to your supervisor/Manager of the area concerned any maintenance requirements.To work in a manner as to prevent or minimize the risk of accidents.
• To adhere to current legislation with regards to safe food production.To comply with managers/supervisors’ instructions in a timely manner.
• To ensure full understanding of all instructions given and ask for clarification if necessary.To be responsible for the security and effective use of consumables during day to day activities.
• To undertake such other reasonable duties as may from time to time be required.Carry out all duties with respect for Health and Safety and housekeeping standards and regulations.
• Observe company policy on flexibility by moving to any other job necessary.Undertake training/retraining and train other employees as required. Undertake chemical training at ABP Newry.
