Evaluation, Research and Insight Officer

We are recruiting for an Evaluation, Research, and Insight Officer to join our team in Practitioner Performance Advice.

You will be working with a range of senior specialists across the Advice service and external stakeholders including health care organisations and national bodies.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will support a number of work areas, which may include but are not limited to:

  • Evaluation and research
  • Insights publications
  • The Advice services equality, diversity and inclusion agenda in respect of our service users
  • Policy, guidance and systems
  • Other key innovation and development activities with the Advice service.

Job responsibilities

What you'll bring

Ideally you’ll be experienced in delivering high quality analysis and reports that have contributed to improved knowledge and the improvement of services and have worked in a similar role in, for example, the research, health, charity, or public sector.

Some of the essential criteria for this role are:

  • Numerically literate and comfortable working with and producing descriptive statistics
  • Excellent written communication skills, including experience of reviewing complex and sensitive documents (e.g. letters and reports) to a high standard, and presenting information clearly and concisely to a wide range of internal and external groups
  • Experience of organising complex project management and programme activities
  • Experience of developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
