The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of legal experience, particularly in the payments or banking sectors, and a deep understanding of card scheme rules. Responsibilities include setting legal strategy, advising on regulatory matters, and managing M&A transactions. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex legal issues in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 12 years post-qualification legal experience, ideally in-house and top-tier law firm.
• Significant experience in payments and/or banking sector.
• Hands-on understanding of card scheme rules like Visa and Mastercard.
• Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.

Responsibilities
