Job summary

CFO Insights, Northern Europe’s leading CFO forum, seeks an operations professional to own the end-to-end execution of 10 European private equity conferences annually. You will oversee venues, suppliers, on-site teams and the overall attendee experience.

You will thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team, shipping with meticulous attention to detail under deadlines. The role is based in London, with travel to conferences overseas and opportunities for internal growth.

Qualifications

• No specific prior work experience required; training provided.
• UK work permit is required.
• Role involves end-to-end execution and hands-on operation of conferences.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end execution of 10 European private equity conferences a year, including venues, suppliers and on-site teams.
• Manage supplier research, negotiation and contracts to ensure cost-effective, high-quality services.
• Plan and coordinate VIP events, meals, and after-hours activities in line with event objectives.
• Provide on-site support and ensure smooth delivery of all event logistics.
• Hire, train and manage a 40-person volunteer team.
• Keep inventory and track event assets; oversee design quality of banners and materials.
