Private Equity Insights in London is seeking an operations lead to own the end-to-end execution of 10 European private equity conferences per year — venues, suppliers, on-site teams and the attendee experience.

You will thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, shipping with obsessive attention to detail, coordinating with a small, high‑performing team and traveling to conferences overseas when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end event execution or operations management.
• Strong vendor sourcing and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and timelines.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supplier Research and Management: Source, compare, and select best suppliers for event needs.
• Event Planning: Plan sponsored VIP events, meals, and activities with logistics detail.
• Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth delivery.
• Internal Team Support: track queries and manage inventory sheets; update materials.
• Quality check of banners, signage, brochures and other promo items.
• Hire, train, and manage a 40-person team of volunteers.
