Job summary

CFO Insights is seeking an operations professional to own the end-to-end delivery of ten European conferences per year. The role is based in London and involves managing venues, suppliers, on-site teams, and the overall attendee experience.

You will work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with significant responsibility and opportunities for internal promotion. The position requires a UK work permit and is onsite Monday to Friday at our London HQ.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating large-scale events and conferences.
• Strong vendor negotiation and contract management skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and timelines across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Source, compare, and select suppliers for event needs.
• Negotiate contracts and terms to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Carefully monitor budgets and inventory related to events.
• Plan VIP events, lunches, dinners, and after-hours activities.
• Coordinate with venues and provide on-site support during events.
• Hire, train and manage a 40-person team of volunteers.
