About the Role

In this role, you will work alongside industry experts in a high-performing team, contributing to projects that are shaping the construction landscape. You’ll gain exposure to complex projects while helping to drive the business forward with your estimating expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for a range of projects, from small‑scale works up to £20m.
• Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to ensure accurate pricing.
• Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and subcontractors to gather necessary information.
• Contribute to the development of tender strategies and value engineering solutions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry costs, materials, and labour rates.
• Produce clear and detailed reports for senior management and clients.
• Support the team in continuous improvement of estimating processes and systems.

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, ideally with exposure to projects in the range of £500k – £20m.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and procurement processes.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
• Experience with relevant estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
