Estimator (specialist projects) | £75,000 + package | UK-Wide, Remote | Contractor

Some estimators work on straightforward builds.

You won’t be one of them.

This role sits at the sharp end of the industry - the places where complexity lives : major demolition, asbestos removal, deconstruction, remediation, earthworks, and transforming brownfield sites into something cleaner, safer, and ready for the future.

We’re recruiting for a national contractor with a serious reputation for tackling the jobs others shy away from. As their new Estimator, you’ll be at the crux of bids for high-risk, technically demanding projects: former gasworks, industrial plants, pharma facilities, and major regeneration schemes.

It’s a remote role, giving you the freedom to be based anywhere in the UK - but you will travel to sites when needed to build a true understanding of the risks, methodologies and delivery challenges that define this specialist sector.

What you’ll be doing

• Building detailed, accurate tenders across demolition, remediation, earthworks, deconstruction and asbestos removal
• Working closely with engineering, commercial and operations teams to understand methodologies
• Visiting sites nationally to assess scope, constraints and risk
• Preparing cost plans, mitigation strategies and tender submissions
• Helping the business win work that genuinely changes landscapes
