Overview

We're representing a well-established Essex-based main contractor delivering a broad range of new build, refurbishment, and fit-out projects across the commercial, residential, and education sectors. Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint a driven and detail-oriented Estimator to join their pre-construction team.

Responsibilities

• Manage tenders from initial enquiry through to final submission
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations
• Support bid strategy discussions and provide accurate commercial input

About You

• 4-5 years' experience in estimating within a main contractor
• Looking to step up from Assistant Estimator to a standalone Estimator position
• Strong attention to detail with sound commercial awareness
• Proficient in Bluebeam or similar take-off / estimating software
• Confident communicator with a proactive, team-first mindset
