Estimating Engineer (Toolroom)

Circa £40k

Our client, a small to medium sized engineering business in the Brighouse area, have an immediate requirement to recruit a well versed Estimating Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of working in a precision engineering (Manufacturing) environment, and be well versed in CNC Machining.

Duties Include:

• Managing the needs and requirements of existing customer.
• To provide detailed costings for sales inquiries identifying the most cost-efficient method of manufacturing so as to provide the best opportunity to win orders.
• To identify new suppliers and sources of material.
• Be involved in regular/monthly sales meeting.
• Working with production to identify the most efficient means of production.
• Involvement with the management team in identifying new pieces of machine equipment for future investment.
• Any ad hoc assignments that the incumbent can add value to for the company.

This is a permanent position where you will be expected to work 08:00 - 16:50 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 12:15 on a Friday. In return you can expect a salary of £40k.
