Estimating Manager at NSS Testing

At NSS Testing we specialise in the testing, installation and maintenance of fall protection and access systems. We deliver a full range of electrical and mechanical project work for commercial clients and property managers across the UK.

Our capabilities include comprehensive design, manufacturing and installation services for both internal and external access systems. We also conduct a wide range of inspections and testing services to ensure buildings remain compliant with current legislation.

Job Overview

As the Design & Estimating Manager you will play a key role in leading our design and estimating functions ensuring that clients receive safe, compliant and cost‑effective solutions for accessing and maintaining their buildings.

You’ll manage multiple projects from concept to quotation, oversee the performance of the design and survey teams and work collaboratively with operations, contracts and sales teams to drive continual improvement.

Your job will include

• Lead and support the design and estimating team to deliver high-quality compliant solutions.
• Produce accurate CAD designs and detailed quotations for multiple projects nationwide.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing the best solutions.
• Collaborate across divisions to drive performance consistency and continuous improvement.
• Oversee multiple projects at once ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Develop and empower your team, promoting growth, accountability and pride in their work.
• Contribute to the growth of the Testing Division through strong client relationships and new opportunities.
