Contract: Permanent

Salary: Grade 4 SCP 6-11 (£25,989- £28,142) Pro Rata

Hours: 13 hours per week – Thursday and Friday (across split shifts each day – one starting at 7:30am AND one starting at 3pm)

Start Date: Required January 2026 or as soon as possible after

52 weeks per year (with holiday entitlement)

The Governing Body of Pontprennau Primary School seeks to appoint an effective and motivated person to work in our dynamic and ambitious school as an Estates Manager (job share). We are looking for a person who is committed to working at the school for the long term.

The successful candidate will exhibit outstanding interpersonal and organisational skills to support the health and safety and maintenance of the school site. They will represent our school’s values, and they will be determined to ensure the school building and its grounds are safe and well maintained to enable pupils to learn effectively.

The role will require flexibility and the ability to work under direction but also to work under your own initiative. The school currently employs two other Estates staff as the school is used in the evening and weekends for hiring. There will be the opportunity for overtime.
