Job summary

A leading property company in Greater London is recruiting an Estates / Asset Manager to manage a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, including offices, industrial spaces, and retail assets. The role involves ensuring compliance, preparing budgets, and liaising with third-party consultants. Ideal candidates will be MRICS qualified with previous experience in commercial property management and a strong understanding of Landlord & Tenant law. This position offers a salary of £55,000 to £65,000 and excellent career development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Ideally MRICS qualified.
  • Previous experience in commercial property management, ideally within a property company.
  • A full UK driving licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Managing single and multi-let properties, ensuring smooth operations and compliance.
  • Preparing service charge budgets.
  • Conducting regular property inspections.
  • Appointing and liaising with third-party consultants.
  • Negotiating lettings, lease renewals, rent reviews, and other landlord and tenant matters.
  • Coordinating minor works and managing larger projects with external teams.
  • Handling insurance claims and implementing health & safety and statutory requirements.
  • Developing asset enhancement strategies.
