Estate Agent Trainee Sales Negotiator
- Applications are now invited from Trainees looking to enter the Estate Agency industry and become an Estate Agent. Candidates should have a strong sales background, for example in car sales, mobile telephone sales, or membership sales, and must have their own car and a valid driving license.
- You will receive an initial 6-month guaranteed salary of between GBP22,000 and GBP25,000 (pro-rata, dependent on the individual) while building your sales pipeline (commission). During this period, your earnings will not be less than this amount. Afterward, you will be offered a basic salary of up to GBP16,000, with realistic on-target earnings of GBP30,000 in the first year, increasing in the second year, plus a 40p per mile petrol allowance for business miles.
- The commission structure is highly attractive: 5% personal sales commission plus 2.5% for booking the Property Market Appraisal (PMA). If you book the PMA and it goes on the market, you earn 2.5% immediately, then a further 5% upon sale, totaling 7.5% commission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interview applicants in a structured manner to identify needs and opportunities.
- Contact qualified applicants regularly, advise on suitable properties, and arrange viewings.
- Negotiate with potential purchasers, prioritizing clients' interests.
- Coordinate transactions, ensuring high standards of customer care, expediting processes, and securing future recommendations.
- Support team members and the Branch Manager.
- Introduce clients and applicants to the Mortgage Consultant.
- Meet service standards set by the company.
- Achieve sales targets as agreed with the Branch Manager.
- Familiarize yourself with all systems, procedures, and legislation, and maintain a professional image.
Experience / Qualifications:
- A strong sales background.
Note: The 6-month guaranteed salary is between GBP22,000 and GBP25,000 (pro-rata). Post-probation, the basic salary can be up to GBP16,000 with expected earnings of GBP30,000 in Year 1, rising in Year 2, plus mileage allowance.
