We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Director or Vice President to help us achieve these ambitions.

Experience/Knowledge
  • Deep equity derivatives trading knowledge/experience
  • Managing and mentoring more junior members of a team
  • Strong understanding of derivative pricing and hedging strategies.
  • Experience with volatility modelling and managing light exotic products.
  • Degree holder in Finance or STEM subject.

Main Duties and Responsibilities of Role:
  • Quoting for clients and risk managing equity derivative positions.
  • Ability to manage complex corporate trades with embedded optionality, ensuring accurate pricing and robust hedging strategies such as share buybacks, collars, forwards, and Total return swaps.
  • Contribute to managing and growing the equity derivatives portfolio with emphasis on single stocks and solutions for our corporate clients.
  • Collaborate closely with Risk Management and Product Control to ensure strict adherence to risk limits and governance.
  • Design and implement tailored hedging strategies that optimise the portfolio and meet client objectives.
  • Strong focus on operational and execution risk control for large corporate transactions, acting as the desk’s subject matter expert for corporate equity derivative trading.
  • Work closely with Client Solutions Group to deliver seamless execution of corporate mandates, translating client requirements into efficient trading strategies.
  • Work with senior traders to manage and grow the equity derivatives portfolio with emphasis on single stocks and solutions for our corporate clients (VP only)
