Field Service Engineer - *Must have a full UK Driving License*

£25,000 - 6 month Fixed-Term Contract. Potential of extension, plus temp-to-perm opportunities.

Location: South London / Croydon

Shift Patterns: 6 days on, 3 days off. Shifts are alternated. Early shift: 7am-4pm, late shift: 11am-8pm.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client, a leading provider of point of sale, payment, and loyalty solutions in the retail and forecourt markets, is looking for Field Service Engineers to join their growing teams. They provide a range of products and solutions to their customers which help them to increase profits through increasing basket size, customer loyalty, and footfall, serving customers more efficiently and cost-effectively. They design, build, install, and support systems in over 5000 retail sites, processing over 20 billion transactions each year through their data centres.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Attending maintenance visits as required
  • Responding to all calls within the required service level agreement (per call)
  • Responsible for asset management
  • Providing accurate and timely call closure and stock reporting
  • Attending proactive maintenance, basic installation, and joint visits as scheduled by the Operations Team
  • Completing all engineering paperwork
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Full UK driving license
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Basic technical aptitude
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Previous experience in a field role (can be IT, telecoms, etc.)
DESIRABLE SKILLS (BUT NOT ESSENTIAL):
  • SPA Passport
  • Service delivery experience
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Previous experience in a similar role
