Overview

Environmental Health Officer / Senior Environmental Health Officer (Protection Team)

Salary: Grade 8 £42,839 rising to £46,142 (EHO); Grade 9 £47,181 rising to £50,269 (Senior).

Responsibilities
  • Work within a small multidisciplinary team that predominantly covers the regulatory areas of Environmental Protection and Private Sector Housing enforcement. Experience across both disciplines is not essential for the role.
  • Prepare reports and consider enforcement action, including a recommendation for legal proceedings where appropriate.
  • Ensure that records and electronic filing systems are fully maintained and updated.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and communicate effectively as part of a team.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Role suited to an experienced, qualified and registered Environmental Health Practitioner.
  • A full driving licence and access to a car for work is essential.
