Job summary

A leading organization in the UK is seeking a Microsoft Entra ID Specialist for an initial 6-month contract role. This fully remote position requires expertise in Entra ID architecture and identity migrations. Responsibilities include advising on identity architecture, leading AD migrations, and configuring Entra ID features. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of experience in Microsoft identity management and hybrid environments. Competitive day rates between £600 and £700 inside IR35 are offered.

Our client a leading organization with a large-scale enterprise environment (5000 users) is seeking a Microsoft Entra ID Specialist to join their team on a contract basis. This fully remote role is ideal for an expert in Entra ID architecture and identity migrations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Entra SME advising on identity architecture and best practices.
• Lead AD migrations and domain consolidation especially during M&A projects including complex forest and domain migrations.
• Plan and integrate identity systems across teams during acquisitions.
• Configure Entra ID: Conditional Access, MFA, SSO, Identity Protection, AD Connect.
• Maintain documentation runbooks and support materials for Entra and AD.

Key Skills and Experience

• 5 years experience in Microsoft identity and access management.
• Expert in Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD including hybrid environments.
• Hands‑on with AD migrations domain consolidations and identity integration for M&A.
• Strong knowledge of Entra features: Conditional Access, PIM, Identity Governance and App Proxy.
• Familiar with Microsoft identity security tools like Defender for Identity and Permissions Management.
