Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Entertainment Coordinator who can make a real difference to the lives of our Residents. Whether you come from a care background or not, we need someone who has the interpersonal and preparation abilities that will ensure every resident is making the most of every day.

Responsibilities
  • Main aims of the job: to help in creating a stimulating, visible and interesting activity programme to enhance the quality of life for each resident within the Home.
  • To organise and co-ordinate meaningful activities for active daily living for each resident individually and in groups.
  • To plan and organise an activities programme that will maintain interest and progression over a period of time.
  • Identify the needs of the collective group and individuals and tailor the activities to suit them.
  • To plan and organise external outings with appropriate transport.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to prepare and plan effectively.
  • Experience in care is not required, but a caring and supportive approach is essential.
