A healthcare organization in Sheffield is seeking a Security Team member to provide support and maintain a safe environment at Sheffield Children's Hospital. This permanent part-time position involves two 12-hour shifts weekly, requiring strong communication skills and experience in customer service. Applicants must possess GCSEs including English and Maths. The role includes regular patrolling, incident response, and supporting vulnerable patients.
Permanent | 24-hour day post. We are offering opportunities to join the Security Team at Sheffield Childrens Hospital. The Day Post consists of two 12-hour shifts per week on a rota basis.
You will help maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Working across different areas of the hospital, you will provide support to nursing teams, respond to security incidents, and contribute to the wellbeing of vulnerable patients.
You\'ll be a calm, flexible, and team-oriented person with strong communication skills. You\'ll be comfortable interacting with children, families, and staff in a compassionate and respectful manner, even during challenging situations. Experience in customer service or a security-related environment is desirable.
