Overview

Role: English and Maths Tutor (Neurodiverse Support)

Start Date: Thursday (specific dates provided on enquiry)

Hours: 2 hours per Thursday (9-11 one week, 10-12 the next)

Location: Local placement in Greater Manchester

Pay: £150 to £220 per day dependant on experience (pro-rata for hours worked)

Contract: Short-term, part-time

Responsibilities
  • Deliver tailored support for a young neurodiverse student who is very particular and finds social interaction challenging.
  • Deliver engaging and structured English and Maths sessions using resources provided, ensuring the student feels comfortable and supported throughout.

  • Proven experience supporting young people with social and communication needs
  • Ability to adapt your approach to meet individual learning styles and emotional needs
  • Confident teaching English and Maths at a secondary level
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
