As an Engineering Technician - Mechanical, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be part of a skilled team responsible for regenerating Royal Navy Type 23 Frigates during deep maintenance periods. You'll bring systems and equipment back to life - replacing the role traditionally held by sailors in the dockyard. This hands‑on, high‑impact role is suitable for an experienced mechanical engineering technician, whose technical expertise will directly contribute to national defence readiness. This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
