A technology solutions provider located in the United Kingdom is seeking professionals to support training operations for Army personnel on surveillance systems and participate in various engineering activities. Responsibilities
  • Support training operations of Army personnel on surveillance systems. Training includes site survey, theory of operations, emplacement, operating, troubleshooting and movement of equipment.
  • Support engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modification, integration and assembly of Army surveillance systems and subsystems which may include computer systems, radio sets, power distribution systems, etc.
  • Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble‑shooting functions.
  • Assist with development and reviews of technical documentation (e.g., operator manuals, maintenance manuals, plans, procedures, et. al.) for Army systems.
  • Collect, maintain, organize, compile, and manipulate technical data.
  • Communicate with leadership, other members of the team, and the customer to ensure a common understanding of requirements, status, action items, issues, etc.
  • Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Able to travel 50% of the time to Army locations CONUS and OCONUS.
  • Mechanically inclined: experienced and comfortable with disassembling and assembling subassemblies. Familiarity with subsystems typically found in communications platforms such as computers, radios, electrical distribution, electronics, etc.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Able to work effectively within a team of technicians, engineers, and technical writers.
