Role Purpose

We are looking for a supportive and inclusive Engineering Manager to guide and grow a team of engineers. This role blends technical expertise with empathetic leadership, helping individuals succeed while ensuring the team delivers meaningful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coaching & Growth: Nurture the development of each engineer through regular 1:1s, encouragement, and personalised career support.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide approachable, thoughtful technical direction, ensuring solutions are reliable, sustainable, and collaborative.
  • Prioritisation & Balance: Partner with product and business stakeholders to set clear priorities, balancing delivery with the team’s wellbeing and long‑term success.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build trusted, transparent relationships with stakeholders, ensuring the team’s voice is heard and represented.
  • Culture & Inclusion: Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where all engineers feel empowered to contribute and thrive.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience leading and coaching software engineers, with a focus on growth and wellbeing.
  • Good understanding of modern software engineering practices (object‑oriented design, APIs, cloud services, DevOps), even if not hands‑on daily.
  • Comfortable supporting teams working with .NET, Azure, and SQL Server, and able to guide conversations and decisions without needing to be the deepest expert.
  • Strong skills in communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management.

We aim to find someone who would be office based in our London, Hammersmith office.
