A leading banking institution in the UK is seeking an Engineering Lead to empower teams and drive technological success. You will set a clear direction for engineering teams, fostering a high-performance culture and collaborating closely with product teams. Ideal candidates will have over 10 years of experience in technology leadership, deep expertise in Java, Python, Cloud platforms, and a strong commitment to developing talent. SALARY: £90,440 - £117,000
LOCATION: Halifax or Edinburgh
HOURS: Full time
WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in our Halifax or Edinburgh office.
Are you a tech leader who loves empowering teams and driving? We're looking for an Engineering Lead to drive the success of our teams, ensuring they have everything they need to thrive. In this role, you'll set the overall direction for our engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency. You'll work closely with product owners to make sure technology is at the heart of decision-making, while also keeping a close eye on risk, resilience, and costs. You will be coding day to day, performing code reviews, utilize your deep technical expertise to guide and mentor the team towards delivering a high-quality software.
