Engineering and Trade Technician

Chelmsford College is seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Engineering and Trade Technician who will support students and staff throughout the Built Environment and Sustainable Technologies and Engineering and Electrical department.

Following significant investment in cutting-edge engineering equipment and facilities, we are seeking an experienced Technician to help deliver a high-quality, industry-aligned learning experience. The successful candidate will ensure that our workshops and technical spaces are fully equipped with the tools, materials, and resources needed to support both staff and students in a modern, practical learning environment.

As a flexible and proactive professional with an excellent understanding of health and safety, you will be responsible for ordering, cleaning, maintenance, risk assessment and compliance. Experience in using engineering machines would be an advantage.
