Job summary

A leading maritime company is seeking Wipers for a dry dock assignment on the Silversea Cruises fleet. Candidates will perform routine maintenance and cleaning of engine spaces, assist with engine overhauls, and participate in safety drills. Successful applicants must possess a valid STCW 95 certification, an Engine Watch Rating, and have knowledge of vessel machinery. Physical fitness and good English communication skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of the operation and maintenance of vessel machinery.
• Must have a valid STCW 95 certification and Engine Watch Rating.
• Experience on vessels in a similar position.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily maintenance and cleaning of engine spaces.
• Assist Engineers with overhauls of engines and auxiliaries.
• Participate in crew safety drills.

Skills

Good knowledge of mechanics

Experience with overhauls

Excellent verbal and written English

Ability to work in confined spaces

Education

Valid STCW 95 certification

Valid Engine Watch Rating certification A-III/4
