Overview

Engagement Officer for the CORNERSTONE Photonics Innovation Centre (C-PIC). C-PIC aims to create a pipeline of Silicon Photonics enabled companies across multiple industry sectors by 2030 and participates in initiatives including the EU pilot line programme PIXEurope. The role focuses on building strong relationships with external partners, showcasing collaborative opportunities, and driving initiatives such as the membership scheme.

If you are passionate about supporting cutting-edge research and innovation in a growing team, you will join a group that values teamwork and is supportive of colleagues. The C-PIC team provides a Silicon Photonics fabrication service to researchers globally, centred around unique cleanroom capabilities in Southampton, UK. You will connect with our community and build our network and should have experience delivering marketing and communications plans, managing digital platforms (web and social), and working with external agencies and consultants.

You will have the opportunity to learn from leading researchers in Silicon Photonics and gain transferable skills and a deeper understanding of the Silicon Photonics ecosystem, in a role that supports your personal and professional development, including in areas such as EDI, innovation, and digitisation.
