Overview

University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) is one of the largest NHS trusts in the United Kingdom, delivering first class acute and specialist services across multiple sites. The Division of GI Services includes hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB), colorectal, upper GI cancer, obesity, nutrition and vascular services, with an administration team supporting a 50 bedded ward, Endoscopy Unit and GI Physiology Unit. The Pathway Assistant role is part of the Patient Pathway team in the Endoscopy Unit, providing administration and reception services to the Division.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist patients on reception and manage patient arrivals.
  • Organise patient appointments and coordinate scheduling.
  • Process clinical correspondence in a timely manner.
  • Support smooth running of the Endoscopy Unit through effective administrative duties.
Qualifications
  • Previous administration experience.
  • Experience in an NHS organisation or a desire to work within a healthcare organisation.
  • Strong communication skills with patients and colleagues.
  • Excellent teamwork, negotiation and organisation skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
