Overview
A vacancy has arisen within the Endoscopy Department for an Endoscopy Decontamination Technician. You will be based at Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert working within the Endoscopy Decontamination Unit. Endoscopy requires an enthusiastic person who is flexible in their approach, has an eye for detail and will enjoy working within a busy, friendly small team. Across site working may at times be required.
Responsibilities
- Provide a compliant decontamination process, which includes manual and automated cleaning, disinfection and storage of flexible endoscopes.
Hours and Working Pattern
The department mainly operates between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday (this may be extended to 8pm). Occasional weekend working is required Saturday and Sunday 8am to 4pm. There is a requirement to be flexible throughout these hours when required.
Requirements
- Successful candidate will be required to complete a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check.
