A leading engineering group is seeking a Supply Chain Scheduler in Gainsborough to manage the end-to-end supply chain process. Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of transport methods and logistics processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills at all levels.
  • Able to make informed decisions under pressure with a can-do attitude.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple priorities.
  • Computer literate, with experience in Microsoft Office; MRP / ERP experience preferred.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end supply chain planning, from order placement through to despatch.
  • Liaise with logistics to ensure trade compliance and supplier performance from global sources.
  • Create and maintain production plans aligned with customer requirements.
  • Monitor and manage supplier deliveries, ensuring purchase orders and schedules are issued on time.
  • Oversee MRP / ERP exception messages, overdue orders, and performance metrics such as OTIF.
  • Ensure perfect order release, confirming all parts are available before production.
  • Support production with accurate documentation and planning data.
  • Assist with audits and maintain process documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to drive continuous improvement.
