A community service organization in St Helens seeks an Employment Advisor to deliver guidance and training to unemployed individuals. The role involves helping individuals secure jobs through one-to-one interventions, group activities, and support in overcoming barriers to employment. The ideal candidate has experience in customer service or welfare to work, strong networking skills, and knowledge of the local labour market. A starting salary of £28,400 is offered with potential for increases based on performance.
The Growth Company’s (GC) Employment team is excited to offer a new opportunity for an Employment Advisor. In this role, you will deliver a variety of guidance and training services to unemployed individuals, supporting their progression into employment. As part of the Restart Scheme, you will contribute to a government initiative that provides tailored support for up to 12 months, helping people secure jobs in their local area while overcoming any barriers that might be hindering their path to employment. We help to make a lasting difference to the lives of people throughout the North of England and beyond, by supporting individuals to gain meaningful employment.
Starting salary is £28,400, rising to £29,270 after probation (potential OTE £31,500 or higher, depending on performance).
